Love is freedom from self-awareness

Happy Easter!
There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
John 15:13

Love is the person who forces you to come to the realization that the cliches are true.

Love is getting past the 'luv u' & the '<3.' love isn't the 'ily' at the end of the text message. It's the time when the truth reveals itself. It's the 'Baby you're my everything, I'm never letting you go.' Love is the shameless audacity behind the 'I love you.'

Love. You know you're in love when you get to the point where you stop caring about the superficial... when you just throw your hair up. When you don't bother with make-up. Love is finally accepting yourself for who you are, because the one that has your heart does in fact love you for you, regardless if you spend an hour or one minute getting ready. Love is freedom from self-awareness; it's a sigh of relief.

Love = a breath of fresh air.

Love = a huge sigh of relief and an enormous sense of accomplishment.

Love: peace of mind

Love does not insist upon its own way.

I once believed that love was knowing what was best for those I loved. However, love has endless forbearance, is given to God’s timing and never insists upon its own way, even if you feel that your own way is right and/or best. We must let our love be free.

I now know better.
